It will function as our new hub for European operations, helping us to further expand our business and serve new customers with our all-in-one spend management platform based on AI.
After expanding from Switzerland to Austria and Germany, we now have the next exciting announcement to share: Yokoy continues to go big in Europe, opening a new office in the heart of Amsterdam. What is more, this move is not just about setting up a satellite sales office in a new location. Amsterdam is going to serve as our hub for European operations, hosting a diverse team from all disciplines – from engineering, marketing, sales to customer success.

Peter van Spaandonk is leading this expansion as our new Country Manager and Head of European Sales. Having steered the US market entry of a Dutch HR-tech company in his previous role, we are happy to count on his expertise to get the new location up and running quickly.

It not only ranks in the top 10 of most innovative economies in the world, a 92 per cent adoption rate of SaaS solutions shows that the Dutch mean business when it comes to optimizing processes and automation.
Or, as Peter puts it: “The Netherlands is simply one step ahead of most other countries. It is not so much about convincing companies that software solutions are the way to go but rather showing them how to further expand on their semi-automated processes.”
Spend management on the rise
Finance & controlling in particular can be a big beneficiary from automation: when it comes to managing expenses or invoices, manual processes are not only error-prone, but also a significant cost driver for companies. No wonder that the spend management tool industry is already worth more than $200bn USD globally and has grown 11% year-on-year – a clear sign that digitization of these processes is becoming more and more valuable to companies.
Our solution is hitting exactly this mark, fully addressing all spend management needs. “While many solutions on the market only cover specific areas of spend management, we offer an all-in-one approach that leverages AI,” Peter explains. “This is how we create the greatest possible value for our customers.”

By setting up our European hub in Amsterdam, we are now opening the next chapter in our budding company history and continue the rapid growth we experienced in the last months.
